When I go out to eat or go shopping, I notice lots of places that my boss can’t go with me. If there are only stairs to the entrance of a coffee shop, we can’t go there for a meeting. And if there are no grab bars in the bathroom of the pub down the street, we can’t hang out there for very long after work. Those places are losing business and my boss’s world seems a little smaller each time he finds that he can’t access another place.
So he thought up BluePath. And now, we’re here to help businesses take a look at their accessibility, provide them assistance in removing barriers and then promoting them when they meet our standards of usability. Yup, promoting them! So businesses can see the buying power of a group that’s typically ignored – a market with $220 billion in disposable income!
BluePath is grassroots. It’s about inclusion – equal access – supporting local economies.
Yeah yeah…it’s the law… but it’s a new conversation about accessibility… it’s about 54 million people in the U.S. It’s about building a BluePath of Accessibility Through Your Door!
